Zinedine Zidane (b.1972) also known as Zizou, is a former footballer of Algerian descent. He is thought by some to have been the best in world football in the 1990's. He is included in the list of the 100 greatest living players by Pele. FIFA said he was the World Player of the Year in 1998, 2000 and 2002.
